Which payment gateways are accepted?
Shopify is currently working to expand their subscription APIs to other payment gateways. But currently, it only supports some of the third party (non-Shopify) payment gateways.
In order to utilize the functionalities of this recurring & subscription app, your Shopify store must be using one of these payment gateways below:
- Shopify Payments
- PayPal Express
- Authorize.net
By enabling this, the app can process the auto-recharging subscription functionality for your shop. Please refer here for official eligibility requirements instructions from Shopify.

Note: You can also use Authorize.net or Paypal Express payment gateway
Steps to enable
- To access the payment provides in your Shopify admin, click Settings
- On the left navigation page, choose Payments
- Click on the Active Shopify Payments button
- Fill in all the requested information
- Click Complete account setup to finish
The Shopify payments gateway has been successfully set up on your Shopify store!! Now, you go to create your first subscription plan!
