Connect a flag “accept marketing” to the accepts_marketing in Shopify

Please make sure the form is connected to Shopify customer data first. Learn more

Create a checkbox with option Accepts marketing

1. From the app admin page, click Forms > open the form you want to edit
2. Click Element tab > click Add elements > Choose element Checkboxes
3. Edit the field to label “Accepts marketing“
4. Click Save

Create a hidden field with the same configuration

1. In form editor, click Add elements > Choose element Hidden
2. Set Datatype as Dynamic value
3. Add the value of Accepts marketing
4. Click Save

Assign accepts_marketing attribute to the hidden field

1. In form editor, click Integration icon on the left side
2. Click Shopify > Configure
3. Assign accepts_marketing to the hidden field that you have created in step 2
4. Save the form to update the change
